Edwardian overalls and 50’s crinoline, embroidered variations inspired by portraits of Boldini, glam rock tailoring and the eternal erotic play of femininity with masculine elements, combined the main idea of MI-RŌ Couture collection, which was presented on November at the School of Fine Arts.
Retro, luxurious brocade and muare taffeta coexist with cotton shirts with club collars, as well as pale muslin and embroidered lace with rough tweed.
The design duo of Dimitris Mastrokalos & Giannis Raptis ‘visit’ again their favorite references to the romantic past and the DNA of their House to create a personal proposal of modern elegance, that once again impressed not only the fashion world that gave a whole present, but also their hundreds of friends from business and art.
The production was undertaken by the Athens Χclusive Designers Week .
The specially designed shoes for the evening were from Sante, the make-up of the models was by Freddy MakeUp Stage with Dust & Cream products, the hair styling was undertaken by Ilias & Staff hairdressers using René Furterer products, the nails by NYXI- NYXI, while Fresh patisseries offered guests wonderful sweet creations.
